Thursday 20th October, 7pm

Enjoy the fantastic, fun sounds of Ashtead-based choir&nbsp;Natural Voices &ndash; led by the wonderful West-end Musical&nbsp;Actress and local Mum, Rachel Shaw. Raise money for a local&nbsp;charity as you sit, relax and enjoy the music (with dinner or drinks if you&#39;d like)&nbsp;in The Olive Tree!&nbsp;Natural Voices will be singing&nbsp;upbeat, contemporary songs and remixes of old favourites. We had rave reviews following their appearance at our Festive Weekend last year.

Evening menu available (not included in ticket price).

Tickets &pound;5 &ndash; includes a glass of Prosecco on arrival.

Jazz It Up Ceramics will be here with blank plates, paints, brushes, stencils and ideas and inspiration. You can sketch out your design on paper first if you wish. Deborah will be on hand to show you stencilling and lettering techniques, or you can create your own unique design&hellip;

Jazz It Up Ceramics will be here offering a hand/footprint and pottery painting pop-up for babies and toddlers 10am-3pm on Tuesday 7th November. Finished pieces will be glazed, fired and ready to collect the following week, in plenty of time for Christmas.

Hand printing of any personal message is included in the price.

Paints are non-toxic and wipe off tiny hands and feet with baby wipes.

Join us to decorate a mini owl to hang-up at home (or to start the preparations for the Christmas tree!). We&rsquo;ll be decorating with bright pens and mini gems to add some sparkle.

Recommended for ages 4+ as the owl decorations are 7cm tall, so may be fiddly for tiny hands. You are welcome to book for younger children if you are happy to help them!

Hosta Heaven!

The National Association of Flower Arranging Societies (Surrey) will be showcasing some of their displays here on Saturday 6th October.

For one day only, members competing in a mini design competition will be putting their arrangements on show at the garden centre, so pop in and admire and be inspired by their work!

The categories for the exhibitis are:

Did you know?

The legend behind our celebration&nbsp;of Valentine&#39;s day is that Emporer Claudius II outlawed marriage (feeling that men who were unmarried were better soldiers) but a priest named Valentine defied him and married young couples anyway. He was put to death, supposedly on 14th February and later canonised as a Saint. The story goes that before his death he left a letter to his jailor&#39;s daughter, signed &#39;from your Valentine&#39; and started a tradition that endures today.

The Plant Area at Ashtead Park Garden Centre is run by a team of passionate professionals who strive to keep the highest standards in plant care, retail acumen and customer service.

&nbsp;

We are currently looking for a candidate, who shares these passions, to fill a supervisory position, working closely with the Department Plant Manager and his team.

&nbsp;

The successful candidate will have a record of employment within a busy retail environment, and a comprehensive working knowledge of I.T. systems and Garden Centre E.P.O.S. systems.

&nbsp;

The role is full-time, including alternate weekend working, with a day off during the week.
